State Secretary, lic.rer.pol., SECO Director and Director of the Foreign Trade Directorate since 01.04.2004. Previously Director of the Federal Office for Refugees from 1998. 1993–1997 Executive Director and Dean (1997) of the Board of the World Bank Group.
Richard Gerster (Switzerland)
PhD from the University of St Gall. 1972–1981 working for Helvetas. Executive Director of the Swiss Coalition of Development Organisations (Alliance Sud) until 1998; since then consultant and publicist (Gerster Consulting).
Adrian Hadorn (Switzerland)
Studied history in Berne. Has been working in development cooperation since 1974 – in Bolivia, Berne (SDC) and with the World Bank. 2001–2006 Head of Swiss development cooperation in Mozambique, 2004–2006 as Swiss Ambassador.
Eveline Herfkens (Netzerlands)
Executive Coordinator for the UN Millennium Development Goals Campaign. Studied law and economics in Leiden. 1990-1996 Executive Director of the World Bank Group. 1996-1998 Ambassador/Permanent Representative of the Netherlands at the UN and other international organisations. 1998-2002 served as the Netherlands Minister for Development Cooperation.
Oscar Knapp (Switzerland)
PhD from the University of St Gall. Head of the Financial, Economic and Trade Division at the Swiss Embassy in Washington; Swiss Ambassador to Brazil from 1996–2000; head of SECO’s Economic Development Cooperation Division since 2003.

Andrew Lawson (Great Britain)
M.A. in development economics. Contributed to numerous scientific studies. Lead the budget support evaluation in Tanzania; researcher at the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) in London since 2005.

PhD from the University of St Gall. Worked for numerous Swiss NGOs and the OSEC. Returned to Ghana and works as an independent entrepreneur since 1991; CEO of Peabo Ltd.

News presenter and editor at the Swiss national television. 
Roberto Tarallo (Italy)
Studied economics, business administration and banking. Joined the World Bank in 1998, where he is currently with the Operations Service Sector of the Latin America and the Caribbean Region (LCR), as Regional Manager, Financial Management. Prior to joining the World Bank, he held various senior staff positions within European financial institutions as accountant, financial controller and internal auditor.
Daniel Armand Thiéba (Burkina Faso)
Development economist and sociologist. Since 1993 Director of the Groupe de Recherche, de Formation et de Conseils (GREFCO) in Ouagadougou. Worked as a consultant for numerous international organisations (UNDP, OECD and FAO).
